The Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Institute (ATI) would like to recruit competent applicants to fill the following vacant positions.
Position 1: Dream – Irrigation Director
Job Requirements:
Master’s Degree in irrigation agronomy, civil engineering, project management, or closely related fields from a reputable University is required
Minimum 12 years of total proven international experience in project management of which a minimum of 6 years in leadership experience in public, private, or development sectors with professional experience demonstrating strong project management abilities.
Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with multiple teams and stakeholders across different organizations.
Fluency in English.
Knowledge of Amharic and other local languages is advantageous.
Term of Employment: One year with a possibility of extension
Duty Station: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Position 2: Senior Project Officer I – Agricultural One Stop Shop (AOSS)
Job Requirements:
The SPO-I AOSS is expected to have familiarity with Agricultural policy and regulatory framework in Ethiopia with proven experience in agricultural input, supply, distribution, and utilization systems. This job position holder is required to meet the following requirements:
Master of Science Degree in Crop Science/Agriculture Science, agricultural economics, agribusiness or other relevant fields with broad level experience in agricultural input systems.
Minimum of 6(six) years experience with a good understanding of the agriculture sector. Working in inputs and output marketing and financing business is preferable.
Fluency in Amharic and working knowledge of English are essential. Knowledge of additional Ethiopian language is desirable.

Duty Station: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Position 3: Senior Project Officer II – Crop Value Chain Development
Job Requirements:
Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics, Development Economics, agribusiness management, or a closely related field
At least eight (8) years of professional experience in areas of Value chain development
Good experience in planning and implementation of activities at an organizational level
Experience in externally funded project management, M & E or leadership
Fluency in English & Amharic required; fluency in regional language(s) is advantageous.

Position 4: Director, Communications
Job Requirements:
A minimum of a Master’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, international relations, business/marketing management, media relations or other relevant field.
At least 12 years of experience with relevant professional experience, preferably in a generalist corporate communications role with a national or international focus, including a minimum of 6 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.
Experience in leading the communication efforts of a large organization
Experience in the agriculture and/or development sectors preferred.
Fluency in written and spoken English and Amharic.

Duty Station: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Position 5: Finance Officer
Job Requirements:
MA/BA Degree in Accounting, or Accounting & Finance
Work Experience – Minimum 3 years for MA /5 Years for BA in Finance officer mainly on projects.
Special Training- Computer knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word, particularly QuickBooks etc.)
Prior Knowledge of Automated Accounting system like ERP is an asset
Other Requirements knowledge of local laws of the country
Willingness in working long hours and ability to work with other teams;
Commitment to ATI values
Fluency in English and Amharic languages is required
