Haile Resort – Jimma is the upcoming four-star resort opening soon and the 10th destination of Haile Hotels & Resorts Group located in Jimma. Jimma (Oromo: Jimmaa) is the largest city in southwestern Oromia Region, Ethiopia. It is a special zone of the Oromia Region and is surrounded by Jimma Zone. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of hot and cold menu items to the restaurant’s standards
- Ensure food is cooked properly and presented attractively
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies
- Collaborate with the chef and kitchen staff to implement new menu items and specials
- Adhere to all food safety and health regulations
About You
Job Requirement
- Level – one and above certification in food production/Hotel operation/ Hotel management/Tourism/ and related fields
- 2+ years of cooking experience in a restaurant or professional kitchen setting
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, food preparation, and presentation
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
