An exciting vacant position has arisen at East Africa Bottling Share Company – Ethiopia for the role of Country Procurement Manager.

The position is structured to report to the Finance Director. The role will oversee the Procurement function
Position: Country Procurement Manager
Skills, Experience & Education:
First Degree in Procurement & Supplies Management/ Management,/ Accounting or related field of studies with a minimum of 12 years relevant experience in both Foreign and Local Procurement out of which 4 years in a managerial role
Must have a valid minimum Auto driving license
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Strategic Business and Procurement alignment (Strategic Procurement Management)
Develop and direct Procurement vision, strategic targets, and “Ways of Working” in conjunction with CCBA Group Procurement and business short, medium, and long-term goals and plans.
Support the business to deliver its business plans and targets.
Work with CCBA Group Procurement Teams to develop category strategies for all CCBA categories in alignment with the Internal Stakeholder requirements.
Manage the country/local Procurement organization
Manage and develop the in-country Procurement Organisation and drive continuous improvement of operational procurement.
Lead team members in accordance with the CCBA Group Procurement management principles to support the organization’s overall leadership focus on performance and talent management, values, management, and self-management practices.
Manage direct reports including target setting, performance review, and career and training development
Support key sourcing initiatives and management of selected key suppliers for local and foreign Sourced Categories
Support strategic sourcing activities for Categories within the country.
Develop and lead partnerships with key strategic suppliers to explore additional value creation for CCBA and the respective country.
Maintain an updated Contract repository in alignment with CCBA Procurement Policy.
